José Paulo Carvalho is the founder and CEO of Hope Care SA with extensive experience in digital health. For 10 years, he was manager of a Portuguese Non-Profit Organisation, where he coordinated social integration teams and telecare projects. In addition, he worked as a consultant in Information Systems at the Portuguese Catholic University and at the Directorate General of Patrimony of the Ministry of Finance. During his career, he developed and monitored about 75 projects in Quality Management Systems in Health and Social Organisations.
In 2011, she created a digital health project and founded the company Hope Care in 2012. Hope Care is a leading provider of digital health services (m-Health), implementing several different projects in Europe. José Paulo Carvalho is passionate about the design and implementation of connected services at home, developing the Hospital@Home concept.
In academic terms, he holds a degree in Theology from the Portuguese Catholic University, specialises in Documentary Sciences from the University of Lisbon and holds an Executive MBA from AESE/IESE.
