On the 11th of July, 2015, the portuguese Prime Minister, Pedro Passos Coelho, attended the inauguration of the central buildings of the Parque Tecnológico de Óbidos.
The Prime Minister complemented the city of Óbidos, stating that it “has been doing an amazing and extraordinary work over the years” and considered Óbidos a role model.
