Hope Care, a leading European provider of Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) solutions, and MicroPort® CRM, a global player in Cardiac Rhythm Management, have successfully completed the integration of their platforms. The first patients using MicroPort® implantable cardiac devices are now being monitored at one of the major Portuguese University Hospitals through HCAlert, Hope Care’s clinical alert platform.
This integration marks a significant milestone in the digital health space, bringing together Class III cardiac device data and multi-pathology RPM insights into a single clinical dashboard. Healthcare professionals are now able to monitor patients more holistically, while the patients remain under continuous and centralised supervision — now including the alerts generated by the implantable devices received directly by the HCAlert platform.
From a regulatory standpoint, this integration is made possible because HCAlert is a certified Class IIb medical device under the EU MDR, ensuring full compliance with European medical device regulations.

Hope Care plans to continue incorporating Class III devices into the HCAlert platform over the coming months, evolving it into a next-generation RPM system — more integrated, intelligent, and capable of delivering greater efficiency to healthcare institutions. This evolution is designed to reduce the burden on clinical teams, while significantly improving patient safety and quality of life.
